Rita Dattani is Westhill Investments' chief executive. Rita's skill set combines strong strategic focus, relevant experience and a track record of successful and robust management within fast changing environments. Rita's experience in property development and good governance is extensive. She has spent more than 20 years in London residential property development and management, mostly at chief executive level, or as a senior consultant. This experience has encompassed the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Rita has considerable experience as a custodian of public funds and has also advised inner city local authorities on the asset management of their housing stock. This work also involved the management of processes to procure service providers such as Developers, House builders, master planners and RSLs some of which were within OJEU selection procedures. Rita was previously a senior management consultant within the Tribal Group and advised several London authorities on housing and property matters including long term assignments at Islington, Southwark, Lambeth, Harrow, Hackney and Hillingdon and Brent Councils. Rita has worked on several regeneration initiatives as auditor, community adviser and project manager, including Kings Cross Partnership, Aylesbury New Deal, South Kilburn New Deal for Communities, and Clapham Park New Deal for Communities. Minesh Sheta has enjoyed an outstanding career in finance and property for more than 20 years. He has acquired a formidable reputation for structuring property deals and has invested successfully both as principal and in joint ventures. His ability to build and manage relationships has resulted in an enviable track record with major investors, high net worth individuals, institutions, retailers and professional individuals in the property world. His entrepreneurial flair took him to Eastern Europe four years ago where he has since set up funds for investing in Bulgaria and Romania. Minesh's experience in Residential, commercial and bridging finance has earned his Investors very good returns over his 20 years. Dominic Hicks
Dominic provides a strong real estate background and uses his own experience in acquisition and asset management both to acquire exceptional property deals for Westhill and to raise funds for inward investment. As a graduate, in 1984, he joined an international sales and marketing company which involved working in Paris for a period as a marketing manager. Back in London, he combined his interest in property and his marketing skills to establish a central London residential and commercial estate agency. Soon after this he acquired a buy-to-let portfolio over a period of 7 years which he disposed of at a return in excess of 300% on initial investment. He went on to acquire, manage and sell a mixture of commercial and residential property, returning a 52% average for all transactions. Within Westhill, Dominic has played a lead role in managing the Company's operation in Bulgaria as well as sourcing lucrative development opportunities and fund raising within the UK. Dawn Spetale is a qualified chartered accountant and is Westhill Investments' finance director. Dawn brings a 20 year track record as a successful financial controller, business services manager and operations director working with a wide range of organizations, including FTSE 100 companies, not-for-profit organisations and those in the Professional Sector. Before Westhill her most recent roles included interim management of major companies, including Clifford Chance, BHP Billiton and Historic Royal Palaces. Dawn is responsible for the implementations of controls and accountability within the organisation within carefully managed financial systems. Chris Hough
Chris Hough brings professional expertise in all aspects of development and project management. Chris qualified as a Quantity Surveyor but quickly moved into Project Management. He has an impressive range of experience on new build and refurbishment projects in both public and private sectors, including The Broadgate Centre, Liverpool St, National Bank and Hilton Hotel in Mauritius and 2000 homes in the Thames Gateway for Bellway Homes. Chris was a director for McBains, Widnell and Currie & Brown before starting his own project management company where he managed a residential development portfolio of approximately £20m. Chris is a Director of the Asset Manager where he provides a valuable service in providing technical advice in relation to property and construction contracts, the appointment of consultants, the specification and procurement of construction works and the management of such works through to completion. It is also part of his remit to ensure robust cost management procedures are implemented throughout the construction process. Chris has worked in the construction and property industry for over thirty years and his experience has included industrial, retail, commercial and residential projects of varying size and scope. Westhill have sought to minimise its risk profile through this key appointment thereby providing the full development management expertise across all disciplines. David Palmer
David Palmer is a senior executive with over 28 years experience in development and was chief executive of a Network Group Housing Association for nine years. As well as his track record in procuring, developing and managing residential schemes in London, David also brings experience in risk assessment and management, human resource development, quality assurance and customer focus. David's work has included the development of property, working with, amongst others; Mac Alpine, Countryside and the London Docklands Development Corporation. David also has extensive experience in inner city regeneration and refurbishment. Whilst chief executive he secured and retained the Investors in People award for his company. As a senior consultant, David has also worked on the successful restructuring of Hyde Housing, one of the largest housing groups in the country, leading their policy and performance teams. David was also involved in the due diligence work leading to the successful merger of new members to Hyde. At Westhill David has been responsible for the delivery of the UK residential developments as well as leasing and asset management activities.
